Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins or two kids close in age, a double stroller is essential. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children, including side by side seating and a board attachment.

Lauren Ro, a writer and strategist, has a favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which is easily adapted as your family grows. It can accommodate two infant car seats, as well as an infant seat. This makes it a great choice for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the most suitable twin stroller for families that need a stylish, double side-byside stroller. It's a larger than the other Bugaboo models however, it is solid and built to last. It has a movable handlebar that can be extended and retracted easily. It also has a great reach, so it's easy for my husband of 6'1 to push, even when fully loaded.

Seats are large and can be placed so that one child sits behind another or so that the children are facing each other. The seats can recline independently of one other. The canopies cover both fabric seats If you want. They're not very ventilated and can appear like an oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.

This stroller comes with a unique feature that lets it grow with your family. It can convert from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only convertible double stroller that can do this! It can be used with a bassinet for newborns or a car seat.

It is easy to use on smooth surfaces, and it can handle stairs and slopes with ease. The only downside is that it can be difficult to navigate crowded shops and restaurants. It can also be difficult to fold, particularly when seats are attached. It's still compact and can fit through most doors.

There is an additional storage bin that fits on the frame, next to the front seat in mono mode. It is great for grocery shopping and other items.  double buggy for twins  underneath the seats is large and can hold up 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller on our list!

Uppababy Vista V2

This stroller is among the best twin strollers for newborns. It can be used right out of the box as a double stroller and is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassets. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters let you use two infant car seats simultaneously.

The V2 is an improved version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is now elevated by a half inch, the footrest has been made bigger and the canopy comes with an additional fabric extension that zips out. Additionally, the harness has been updated and no longer needs to be changed out, making it simple to adjust.

The stroller comes with large wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in back) and a sturdy suspension system that can handle any terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber, which makes them ideal for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones. The rear wheels have more tread to conquer paths and grassy hills.

A child's bicycle can be connected to the front of a stroller. This is a great choice for parents who don't wish to invest in a baby car seat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand then the Vista stroller can accommodate another child in with its piggyback board accessory.

The Vista is easy to use and to install. It does take some time to remove all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is an YouTube video to help if you require help understanding the steps.

It comes with exciting upgrades like a built-in foot rest and a new reclined seat that promises unbeatable comfort for children during long jogging and walks. Its sleek, agile design increases its maneuverability.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for growing families and offers parents the option of seating to meet the preferences and needs of every child. The two stroller seats of the double stroller come with reclined backrests and canopies that are separate. They're also designed to take one of Chicco's top-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front and rear seat (car seat sold separately) with the exclusive click-in attachment that eliminates the need for add-on straps or bars, which many competing models require.

A padded 3-position handle comfortably accommodates mom or dad, and a rear zipper access large basket offers ample storage space for all of your gear. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller offer a smooth ride on all terrains. The 1-touch linked rear breaks with toe-tap activated make stopping simple.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for ease of use. This metric is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller and to adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it into a trunk, and for double strollers that are compatible install and remove an infant car seat.

This model has some shortcomings. First, it's heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the extreme side of our metric than the average for this group of strollers. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the back. Lastly the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, particularly when used for a long time. Even with these issues, we believe this is a fantastic double stroller that will keep your family together for a long time.

Jeep Double Stroller

Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - A lightweight, budget-friendly stroller that is ideal for families with two children. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to allow it to be maneuvered on flat surfaces and lock for stability on bumpy surfaces, making it easy to go where you want to go. It also has an umbrella fold that can be closed in seconds and stands upright to make it easy to transport. Its aluminum frame is lightweight, and its foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the easiest double strollers to lift in our tests.

This stroller has independently reclining seats for maximum comfort. Its large canopy can provide UPF 50 sun protection, and it comes with a peekaboo view window to allow for easy monitoring. We would prefer to have the canopy vented for more airflow. We also didn't love that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend down to access it.

In our tipping-test, the Jeep tipped over at a 39-degree angle, which is more than average for the double pram. It's also heavier than our top picks but it does provide a decent amount of storage space at a reasonable price and has ample padding in the seats and handle.

The stroller is a versatile model with three modes: wagon (just to store things), jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for children) and car seat mode. It can accommodate one infant car seat, however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is six months old before running with them, and one year old before taking them on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a limited warranty. Jenni Gritters has been a parenting and outdoor journalist for more than a decade.
